Are we delusional about a decentralized economy?

 

The question arises because of the recent happenings like the fall of bitconnect and the government getting involved in the whole situation.

Perhaps the biggest issue as we see the crypto economy evolve is that there is no form of authoritative power.

We don’t have entities that regulate anything as we are dependent on the system we are in to monitor itself.

This all gives governments enough reason to poke their long noses into the crypto economy and try to establish control.

Where will we be with this 2 to 3 years from now?

It is looking more and more likely that in the future the surviving cryptocurrencies will be hybrids where regulated cryptocurrency serves under strict government control.

We know that in a few months certain governments are going to meet to discuss this issue, especially pertaining to anonymity and regulation.

In a world where you can get away with murder but not tax evasion; a world where  you can get jailed without trial for alleged terrorist inclinations. I hear governments use both terms when it comes to the crypto economy and that is scary.

Seeing how rapidly decentralized economies are growing the government does not really have a choice but to implement rules and regulations that will effect even how ICOs are supposed to be launched, what criteria they must meet and so on.

Is regulation that bad? I mean, it rids us of all the Ponzi schemes, criminals and those who crowd up the place and give it a bad name?

Regulation is a good thing, true. But the crypto community must come together and have consensus on certification criteria that cryptocurrencies must actually meet.

There has to be a body overseeing that! As long as that is not regulated properly done by us, the government will come in to play. It’s just a matter of time.

It’s gonna be difficult because crypto is growing too fast. But difficult is not impossible.

You see some governments like in The Netherlands, the government is very interested in the blockchain technology and want to integrate it into their system.

They see the benefit of it in tracking fraud and peoples digital footprints.

An all-out government raid may not be imminent but it is inevitable as they are the law and have the power to pull the plug.

The crypto will hit the trillion dollar mark this year and with that, the perverse government’s long hand of law is lurking.

So fellow cryptomaniacs let’s get organized or get centralized by the government.

I may have mentioned things you do not fully agree on, and some that you definitely like.

How to SET UP 2018 TO BE YOUR BEST YEAR YET! (Step by Step Action Guide)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 
If you want to seriously kick ass in your life or business in 2018 then it’s important you are clear on what you want, what and when you are doing it, and actually scheduling it into your planner.
Let’s face it, nothing gets complete unless it’s scheduled.  How many of us start lots of things, but don’t end up completing them? I’m totally guilty of that if I don’t plan ahead and allot time for the steps to work towards my targeted goals.
5 Steps to Setting Up 2018 to be the Best Year of Your Life Yet! 
Scheduling your lifestyle and the activities you want to do in 2018 will help ensure your life is balanced the way you desire it to be, as well as forecast your income accordingly.
Too often people have a dream and a vision for their life but they don’t spend the time to actually map out what that looks like, so it stays as a dream that “one day” they will strive for, rather than an actualization of that dream into reality.
If you want to travel more, schedule it in!
If you want to make more money by developing and selling a product or service, schedule it in!
If you want to achieve major goals like completing a marathon or losing 50 lbs, schedule the deadline in!

Step 1) Schedule all of the celebrations of your loved ones.
It’s important to celebrate with those closest to you, such as their birthdays, graduations or big events, and having it scheduled in will remind you of planning ahead to get something special and also so you keep the date free.
Step 2) Schedule all of the holidays you wish to take.
For this, start with the public holidays.
Next, schedule the time your leave from your job or the time off you wish to take from your business. For example, I’m planning to take a break once every 3 months and take a short trip or have a staycation.
Scheduling holidays is ultra crucial. It gives you something to look forward to which keeps you engaged during the time you’re working, but it also serves as a time to relax, rejuvenate and refocus on what you’re achieving in your life.
Step 3) Schedule the major business/career goals that you want to achieve.
For example, if you’re an entrepreneur, schedule the product launches, community challenges or other promotions that you plan to do in 2018 for your business. This not only provides you clarity on what to focus on, but also provides a good prediction of your income for the year.
Step 4) Schedule weekly or regular activities that you will need to complete to move you towards your larger goals.
For example, for entrepreneurs you can schedule your weekly meetings with your team on Monday to ensure everyone knows the focus of the week, schedule money dates with your team to ensure you’re on track income wise and understand what expenses are going out and what is flowing in. As well, make sure you have a separate money date with your partner for your personal money situation.
Step 5) Schedule the due dates of your goals for the year or any other ad-hoc activities that you want to accomplish.
This is another great way of reminding you of the major goals you’re trying to achieve. Since you already scheduled your major work commitments, this could be any other goal related to your personal growth, health, relationships, personal growth, physical environment, finances, and fun & recreation.
Scheduling your life this way will allow you to enter 2018 feeling calm and in control (rather than stressed and overwhelmed), and that as long as you stick to your plans, you will achieve the things that you have committed to do.
ACTIONABLE STEP:
Now it’s your turn – take 30 minutes to create your year. Remember, many people talk about making the new year their best ever but few actually take the time to plan it out and make it so. Will you be the few that will actually take action?

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day celebrating with your loved ones!

There’s no better time than now to take a look at your life and work and assess some areas that are ripe for improvement.

Invest your time in personal growth to improve you life, relationships, and/or career.​​​​​​​
I suggest taking a hard look at the last year and asking yourself a few very important questions:
  • What was your biggest breakthrough and how can you build on it?
  • What did you learn from your biggest failure or mistake?
  • What have you been wanting to do, but haven’t done yet? Why?
Your answers to those questions may create a lightbulb moment that sets the tone for an awesome 2018!
If the final question hits especially close to home (which means that you’ve got a dream you need to see through) then I highly recommend you take some time to reflect on what stopped you from taking action to pursue this dream.
For some of you, it’s because one or more of the following:
-You put yourself last and others first.
-Other things became a priority because you’re too stressed out dealing with those other things, you don’t have the time to do that thing you want to really do.
-You lack confidence in yourself to see this dream through.
-You’re a little bit addicted to Self-Sabotaging your Success (not on purpose of course!)
-You don’t feel good enough.
-You are fearful of failure.
I’ve been there in all of the above too.
In the following days leading up into the first week of January, as a gift to you for being part of my e-community, I am going to have a series of emails to support you in reflecting on where you are right now, envisioning what you want to have and where you want to be for 2018 and helping you look at some ways to get there.

I had the privilege to be interviewed by Holistic Nutritionist Clinical Practitioner, who also has a Registered Nurse background of over 20 years, and my friend, Shonda Holt of Nourishing Everyday. She has a goal of doing 1000 interviews. I had the honor and opportunity of being interviewed by her for her View of Hope Interviews. 
In this interview, Shonda asks me why I’m so passionate about inspiring and empowering people to love themselves and love their bodies. She also has me sharing some insightful tips on how to start thinking differently and practicing Self-Love. 
And she had some fun questions to ask me about my personal life and memories, so you can get to know me a little bit more up close and personal 😉

A Life Coach’s Guide to Living by Choice not by Chance

Each day we make choices that influence our pace and quality of life, and many of these are unconscious. While it’s a good thing we don’t have to think about every little choice we make, when it comes to creating a whole, fulfilled, balance between work-related activities and the rest-of-our-life activities… it’s a good idea to wake up and smell the proverbial coffee. Otherwise, we can find ourselves living with the effect of our choices such as feeling overwhelmed, stressed, unhealthy, or out of control.

This is not about right or wrong, good or bad. I believe there are no mistakes, simply lessons learned. Living by choice, not by chance requires us to take responsibility for our own life. We get to choose if our experiences will be a sentence, paragraph, page or a chapter(s) in our life’s story.

So let’s get started…shall we?

Do the following calculation:

  • Subtract your current age from 90
  • Add two zeros to the answer
  • Divide that number in two

*This is roughly how many weeks you have left on this Earth, assuming you live to a very ripe old age.

If you smoke and don’t look after yourself properly, subtract 1,200 weeks.

It’s time to live by choice, not by chance. Here’s how:

LET GO: Release those people, places and things that no longer serve you. You have the power to forgive an apology you never received, past hurts that keep you resentful, and folks that drain your energy. Let go. Start anew.
